Great buy for the money

Disapointed

This umbrella looked great "on paper: It came in a couple of days after ordering. The shipping cost was way too high. When all merchants are shipping for free or for a very nominal fee this was over $20 to ship. (I just ordered an entire baby crib and the shipping was $9) Would have still beeen worth it if the umbrella was a good buy--However the umbrella has a cheap rope pulley system to

raise up an down several screws were missing and the main screw was warped and didn't fit. We aren't paying ro ship it back-so we are stuck with it. You would be wiser to pay more and get something better made and better quality. More detail ...

alongside a much more expensive umbrella and it holds it's own.

It doesn't absorb rainwater so when you close it you might

Not worth it!

I was so disappointed with this umbrella. I know its a great price but I was at least expecting it to work. The umbrella was made mostly of plastic and when I put it up to use it it broke! I am not sure if mine was defective but it is not worth purchasing regardless. I did get a refund without any trouble so I am happy about that! This was the only piece of the set that was not good. Item received in excellent condition. Unbenounced to me the pole diameter was 2" whereas standard pole sizes are 1 1/2" or less. It did not fit into the hole of my patio table and had to be modified.More detail ...

Terrible

We ordered two of these umbrellas. First the color is completely off - they're actually grey. Second they are cheaply made using composite wood not real wood. One of the umbrellas just snapped in half - literally. It was closed and it was slightly windy outside. I'm hoping to return these for a full refund.More detail ...

Great Umbrella

We've had this umbrella for about 2 years now and it's held up beautifully. It stays outside all year round (we don't get snow - and lately we don't get rain either but I digress). As a final test before my purchase I visited a local resort. They had two similar market umbrellas around the pool which were purchased at a local discount retailer for a third of the price. After only one season both had broken ribs that were rigged with aluminum tubing. The wood was cracking and the finish was all but gone. The sectioned pole was loose and wobbly. Super Fast Shipping

Very fast shipping. I am impressed! Umbrella is OK nothing special but very nice for the money. I have a vacation rental and we go through a lot of umbrellas: guests do not close the umbrellas when they leave a burst of wind and umbrella snaps in half! I am so glad I can find a regular 9 ft umbrella for a very cheap price. Makes it almost disposable! I am going to order a bunch of these keep them in storage and not worry about breakage so much.
